TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 
We know it is not the most exciting part of booking our lovely taco truck for your amazing event but as responsible traders, we have to make sure everything is covered. Please take a few minutes to read through the below before paying your deposit.

Booking Your Date with The Little Taquero

  1. In order to secure The Little Taquero for the date of your event, we take a deposit of £350. Please note that we will turn down any further enquiry for this date and therefore this is non-refundable.
  2. At the time of booking (deposit payment), we take a minimum servings number. After your deposit is paid you may increase but not decrease your serving numbers or any additional extras.

Booking Fee and Payments

  1. A non-refundable hire fee of £350 is required to secure your date.
  2. Payment methods are to be made by bank transfer.
  3. Payment of Total Event Costs Prior to Event.
  4. The remaining balance is required for all catering services to be provided by The Little Taquero no later than 1 month before your event date.
  5. We will send a reminder that your balance is due.
  6. A completed ‘Information Form’ with final serving numbers and menu choices is due at the same time as the balance (1 month prior). The information provided at this point will be used to produce your total event cost invoice, arrange staff and co-ordinate with your venue.
  7. After final numbers have been provided to us if you wish to increase your numbers or additional extras please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate but please be advised this may not always be possible.
  8. Any approved additional servings or extras added within 1 month will be invoiced and should be paid immediately.
  9. If any payment deadlines are missed, we reserve the right to charge late fees of no more than £20 per day and/or cancel your event with no return of the deposit.

Cancellation Charges

  1. In the unfortunate instance you have to cancel The Little Taquero for your event we require this confirmation in writing.
  • Our cancellation conditions are as follows:
  • Cancellation at any time – Loss of deposit
  •  21 days – 30 days notice – 50% loss of the total event cost
  • 14 days – 20 days notice – 75% of the total event cost
  •  Within 14 days notice – 100% of the total event cost
  1. In the extremely unlikely event, we have to cancel, any monies paid by you will be refunded in full.

Use of Renault Estafette Van

  • Our van Emilio is vintage which puts certain limitations on accessibility.
  • If there is a mechanical problem with the van or if we deem accessibility to be unsuitable (such as but not limited to unsuitable surfaces for driving or tight/narrow spaces), we reserve the right to use our gazebo style setup as a suitable alternative.

Dietary Requirements and Allergies

  • Our tacos are gluten-free as standard and we cater for vegetarians and vegans with no prior notice necessary. For any other allergen or dietary requirements please provide us with advanced notice.
  • While we can provide you with a comprehensive list of any allergens in our food we cannot guarantee traces of any allergens will not be present on any of our food.

Alcohol

  • We hold a personal alcohol license and can therefore serve a range of Mexican beers, Latin American wines and fantastic sipping tequila and mezcal. It is your responsibility to check with your venue regarding premises licenses or arrange a TENs if required. We are more than happy to lend a hand if you need any advice or help with this.

Utilities

  • If you have agreed to provide us with electricity prior to the day of the event, it is your responsibility to ensure that the power provided meets the specifications as outlined in this pack.
  • If we are required to provide electricity through our generator, this may impede our ability to provide certain menu combinations. This will be discussed with you prior to the event.
